Alastair Sinclair joined the firm as Head of the Civil Litigation Department in January 2013.

Alastair qualified as a Solicitor in 2000 and after practising in Surrey for several years he has spent the last 10 years in a senior position at a Chichester-based firm.

Alastair has extensive experience in civil litigation including:

  • Neighbour disputes
  • Employment issues
  • Disputing Wills
  • Tenancy/housing disputes
  • Consumer issues
  • Property disputes
  • Business/partnership disputes
  • Debt recovery

He successfully represents Clients at all levels in County Court, High Court and Court of Appeal, frequently in cases of significant value.  He is strongly outcomes focused and looks to find

Alastair also represents Clients in family matters including all aspects arising out of divorce.  He is a trained Family Mediation and Collaborative Lawyer. 

He is also an active member of the West Sussex and South Downs Collaborative Law Pod and the Parliamentary Liaison Officer for the Chichester & District Law Society.

Alastair has lived in the Petworth area with his young family for many years.  When time allows he enjoys horse riding and playing guitar in a local band.
